Basic Air Hostess Job Requirements:

If you want to be a member of the cabin crew then following are the skills that are required:

· Minimum age of 18-21

· 2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 3 (A* to D) for a level 2 course

· There is usually a minimum height requirement

· Must be able to swim 25Metres

· Good eyesight

· Fluency in English & a second language if possible

· Previous experience in a customer service role

· Valid passport

 

Responsibilities:

 

The major duties of the role include performing all the safety procedures before the take-off, welcoming the passengers on board, and ensuring that passengers are comfortable & safe during the flight. Cabin crew will often be serving in-flight meals & drinks from a trolley, the duty of seating arrangements, assisting passengers who have any concerns or queries, and selling duty-free items. They may also be responsible for making announcements on behalf of the pilot and answering the passenger's questions during the flight.

·      To be successful as an air hostess it is important to be interested in the travelling world, to be very good at customer care, and to be highly sociable & excellent at carrying out several tasks under time pressure.
